Reverse mortgages have been a major godsend (and new source of income) for many senior home owners.

Just be aware of this fact: If you decide to become a landlord and move out of the house for which you are receiving reverse mortgage payments (usually for more than six or 12 months depending on the lender), some lenders may 'call the mortgage due in full' upon learning that the home is now being rented.
